Job summary

In this role, you will manage ventilator care, airway management, and participate in rapid response activities, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring students and new staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• No minimum experience required.
• Credentialed as an NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory care needs of patients.
• Administer, monitor, and wean mechanical ventilation.
• Set up and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Perform blood gas analysis and respiratory function tests.
• Document in patient records and department logs.
