Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (minimum).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist by Michigan Department of Community Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced respiratory care for acutely ill patients.
• Wean patients from ventilatory support and manage BiPAP/CPAP.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and staff to ensure safety.
• Educate staff and students in respiratory care techniques.
• Document care in electronic health records per policy.
• Participate in rounds and hand-off reports.
