Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work independently or with physicians to administer meds, perform cardio-pulmonary therapies, and provide CPR and life support in emergencies. This role includes managing oxygen delivery, assisting in rapid responses, and supporting ventilator patients within a large health system.

The candidate should hold an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, be able to work in a dynamic environment, and meet OSHA/TB requirements

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or healthcare-related field.
• Graduate from an approved respiratory therapy program (2-year degree or equivalent).
• TB testing required and OSHA training annually as per plan.
• Licensure: RT (RT credential) and ACLS/BLS as per certification list.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory care and therapy per protocol.
• Deliver medications via aerosol and inhalers.
• Respond to rapid responses and emergencies with life support.
• Set up and maintain oxygen and ventilatory support per protocol.
