Job summary

Infor in Michigan is seeking a respiratory therapist to provide clinical and diagnostic care in the Cardiopulmonary department, including adult ventilator care, EKGs, pulmonary function testing, and newborn support.

You will conduct procedures, assess therapy goals, supervise therapists in the director’s absence, and coordinate with clinical staff. Requires Michigan license as an RRT or in progress with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• State license as RRT or respiratory student/grad graduating in less than 3 months.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside spirometry and pulmonary function tests.
• Perform EKGs and Holter scanning.
• Perform stress testing if trained.
• Provide respiratory care and ventilation management.
• Evaluate therapy plans for identified conditions.
• Collect clinical information via inspection, palpation, percussion, auscultation, and patient interview.
