The position requires an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Oklahoma RCP licensure, with preferred CRT/RRT credentials and BLS/ACLS/PALS. Day shift duties include ventilator support and patient assessments across ages.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Applied Science required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Current RCP license in Oklahoma.
• CRT or RRT preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or within 30 days of hire).
• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects.
• Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Assesses patient pain and requests physician intervention when needed.
• Performs arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and documents results.
• Follows sterilization procedures and lab/completion documentation.
• Conducts EKGs and ensures reports reach physicians.
• Demonstrates care across age groups (neonates to geriatric).
• Adheres to seven medication rights to minimize errors.
• Maintains patient safety and participates in quality improvement.
