Avem Health Partners is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver cardiopulmonary care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings under medical supervision. The role is 24/7 and requires independent decision making in a safety‑sensitive environment.

The position emphasizes oxygen delivery, ventilator management, ABG sampling, EKGs and comprehensive patient assessment, with strict documentation and policy adherence. Oklahoma licensure and NBRC credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Applied Science.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Current RCP license from Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure.
• Preferred CRT or RRT credential from NBRC.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers respiratory therapy to inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients.
• Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Performs EKGs and reports interpretations to physicians.
• Documents data in the patient record and follows policies for safety and care.
