Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Respiratory Therapist for night shift in Claremore, OK. The role covers admission diagnostics, therapy administration, ABG interpretation, and emergency response across Labor and Delivery, medsurg, ICU, and ED.

Requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care, Oklahoma CRT license, RRT license upon hire, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP) within stated timelines. At least 1 year of experience preferred, with weekend/holiday coverage expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience minimum in respiratory care.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• NRP within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Administer gases and medications and modes of therapy.
• Respond to emergencies throughout the hospital and assist in transport of patients.
• Advise on arterial blood gas results and assist with ABGs.
• Attend deliveries and initiate neonatal CPAP and ventilation.
• Participate in departmental in-service/education programs and QA.
