Job summary

Kindred Hospital Santa Ana is a long-term acute care hospital delivering in-depth respiratory care seven days a week, partnering with physicians to support extended recovery journeys. The role focuses on ventilation management, airway care, ABG interpretation and patient education within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy education required for NBRC credentialing.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• CRT or RRT credential and CMP compliance; BLS and ACLS certified.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures per policy with accuracy and documentation.
• Verify physician orders and manage ventilation and airway care.
• Monitor ABG results, oxygen therapy, and patient response to treatment.
• Educate patients and families, and participate in rounds and team meetings.
• Assist in procedures such as bronchoscopy and weaning from ventilation.
