Job summary

Kindred Hospital Santa Ana is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe, competent respiratory care per physician orders in a long-term acute care hospital setting. You will monitor mechanical ventilation, perform ABG sampling, and assist in airway management while documenting care and communicating with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT), state license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Respiratory Therapy education for NBRC credentialing.
• Current state license for Respiratory Therapy.
• CRT or RRT credential or RC CMP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe respiratory care per physician orders.
• Monitor ventilation and assess patients.
• Document procedures and ensure accurate charge capture.
• Maintain equipment and sterile technique; perform airway management.
