Job summary

Qualifications

• AMA-approved program for respiratory care.
• RRT or CRT; RRT preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred.
• Current Alabama License required.
• Computer skills for Hospital Information System.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within scope of practice as ordered by physician or protocol.
• Promotes best practices in respiratory care through evidence-based medicine.
• Collaborates with health care team and supports operations and performance improvement.
• Attends required hospital and departmental education and stays current in field.
