Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program.
• Prefer 1 year of critical care and neonatal experience.
• Active Alabama license and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong computer skills for Hospital Information System and other devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care per physician order or protocol across all age groups.
• Apply evidence-based practice to patient assessment, intervention and communication with the health care team.
• Promote best practices, participate in performance improvement, and support hospital standards.
• Attend required education and stay current in the field.
