Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Jackson is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem/PRN shifts (12-hour day or night). You will evaluate patients, provide advanced respiratory care, and contribute to treatment plans for critically ill patients recovering from traumatic illnesses and surgeries.

Qualifications

• NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• College transcript/diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
