• RCP license required; CRT certification required; RRT preferred; CPR/ACLS within stated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to safety standards and policies.
• Assesses patient physical, psychosocial and educational needs and documents.
• Performs respiratory therapies: oxygen, ventilation, bronchial hygiene and spirometry.
• Maintains airway and assists CPR; responds to emergencies per protocol.
• Reviews EMR and physician orders; supports workflow improvements.
