Job summary

The role requires knowledge of neonatal to geriatric care, strong teamwork, and certification compliance. Maryland/DC licensure eligibility and ACLS/NRP/PALS within 1 year are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in respiratory care; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Less than 1 year acute care experience; registry eligible required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to diverse patient populations per physician orders.
• Perform treatments and services: oxygen, humidification, monitoring, ventilators, bronchial hygiene, spirometry, EKG, blood gas analysis.
• Review EMR and physician orders; communicate with care team.
• Respond to CPR and maintain airway; provide oxygen and ventilation.
• Facilitate workflow efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Comply with safety standards and regulations.
