Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology and pathology related to care.
• Ability to operate and monitor respiratory care equipment.
• Ability to assess hazardous conditions and take corrective action.
• Ability to work with patients of all ages and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and standards.
• Assess patient education needs and document findings.
• Operate and monitor equipment (oxygen, humidification, ventilators, spirometry, EKG, blood gas).</br>Note: line break kept for formatting consistency.
• Respond to CPR events and participate in code blue activities.
