Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, collecting specimens, and documenting care in the medical record, while maintaining safety and high-quality patient service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• AHA/Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.
• Punctual and reliable attendance according to hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist direct caregivers under RN supervision.
• Document care in patient medical records.
• Perform activities of daily living support (ambulation, toileting, meals).
• Collect specimens and obtain blood glucose per policy.
• Perform EKGs, Foley catheter removal, bladder scans under RN guidance.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient safety.
• Transport patients and assist with transfers and discharges as directed.
