Job summary

The role requires strong clinical judgment and teamwork within a multi-disciplinary care environment. Qualifications include an Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and TNCC within 1 year of hire or residency graduation.

Qualifications

• Associate, Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing.
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS Card.
• ACLS card (within 6 months of hire).
• TNCC within 1 year of hire or residency graduation (Emergency Room).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care with the care team.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote health.
• Use clinical judgement and critical thinking to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient medical record and participate in policy development.
