Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in Georgia seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the critical care team. The role provides direct care to critically ill adults in ICU/CCU/CVICU settings under physician supervision, with emphasis on leadership and evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing or PA qualification with GA licensure, and demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia APN license and Master's degree in Nursing, or graduate of a GA PA program with Georgia license.
• Must be licensed in Georgia for Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant.
• Ability to work in ICU/CCU/CVICU settings with clinical teamwork and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adult patients under physician supervision.
• Obtain health histories and perform exams; document findings per hospital requirements.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and explain procedures to patients and families.
• Perform procedures including arterial/venous access, line management, EKGs, and hemodynamic measurements.
