Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current Georgia APN license and a Master’s in Nursing, or PA program with Georgia license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adults under supervising physician guidance.
• Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, and document findings per hospital rules.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; explain procedures to patients and families.
• Perform arterial/venous/capillary sampling, blood gases, EKGs, and assist with imaging and procedures.
• Lead advanced airway management, CPR, life-support medications, and ACLS-compliant care.
• Insert and manage arterial, central venous, and chest tubes under physician direction.
