Qualifications include GA licensure as an APN or PA, a Master's in Nursing or PA degree, ACLS, and 2 years ICU experience.

Qualifications

• GA license for Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant
• 2 years ICU experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to educate and onboard new hires and fellows

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services for critically ill adults under physician supervision.
• Obtains patient histories and performs physical examinations with proper documentation.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Performs approved critical care procedures and manages airway, including RSI where applicable.
• Inserts and manages arterial/central lines and related devices under physician direction.
