Job summary

Piedmont is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to join the Medical/Surgical Critical Care team in Georgia. You will support the management of critically ill adult patients in ICU/CCU/CVICU settings under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include direct clinical care, history taking, exams, ordering tests, CPR and airway management, and participating in rounds, education, and research.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program with GA APRN license or PA license.
• Master's degree in Nursing or graduate of PA program.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services for critically ill adults within hospital guidelines.
• Obtains patient histories and performs physical exams and documents findings.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; explains procedures to patient and family.
• Performs approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures per patient status.
