Strong EMR and ICU protocol knowledge are essential for high-quality care. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and nurses, ongoing clinical research participation, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital environments

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate independent functioning and teamwork within ICU teams.
• Experience with critical care patient management and procedures preferable.
• Proven ability to participate in education and outreach to staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adults in the ICU.
• Obtain health histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and explain procedures to patients and families.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic procedures per physician instruction and document in records.
• Develop and implement acute illness treatment plans with attending physicians.
