Job summary

Piedmont in Georgia seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to join its critical care team. You will provide direct management of critically ill patients in the ICU, CCU and CVICU settings, practicing evidence-based medicine under physician guidance.

You will lead clinical care, participate in rounds, and contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement initiatives while maintaining licensure and CME requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with Georgia APRN license and MSN or higher.
• OR graduate of an accredited PA program with Georgia license.
• Must maintain state licensure and CME responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct critical care to adult ICU patients under physician supervision.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and manage care plans per guidelines.
• Lead clinical activities, rounds and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Engage in teaching, research, and process improvements in CCU/ICU.
