Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 3-night/12-hour shift in the ICU. You will deliver patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning.

Applicants must hold MA nursing licensure, be BLS certified, and ACLS certification current. A $6,000 signing bonus is eligible for external hires; schedule includes holidays and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required; ACLS certification current or maintained.
• RN with knowledge of nursing practice and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and develops an individual plan of care.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Documents patient care according to procedures and policies.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as required.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure quality care.
