Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse for a night shift in a 36-hour week, non-exempt status. The role requires Massachusetts nursing licensure and BLS, with ACLS preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 may be available for external new hires.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, patient assessment, care coordination, medication administration, and participation in quality and governance activities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• BSN degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within assigned setting.
• Documents patient care per procedures.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures.
• Participates in nursing governance and quality improvement.
