Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse who is a registered professional nurse in Massachusetts to provide patient care for assigned patients in the ICU and other areas as needed. The role includes night shifts, 36 hours per week, with every 3rd weekend and holiday commitments.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience is required.
• ED experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or must obtain ACLS by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse plans and provides patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Acts as the lead for all patient care emergencies, including Rapid Response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, and out-patient Code Blue calls.
• Responds to emergencies in any department as part of the Critical Care Float Pool RN role.
