Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Staff Nurse for a 36-night schedule, including every 3rd weekend and holidays, in a Critical Care Float Pool. You will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex needs, following established standards and protocols.

Requirements include a BSN, MA RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. ICU experience is essential; ED experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current MA RN licensure is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years ICU experience is required.
• ED experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or must obtain ACLS by end of orientation.
• Adheres to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
• Demonstrates analytic thinking and prioritization under stress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge and clinical skills for complex patient needs.
• Respond to emergencies and lead rapid responses, Code Blue, Code Stroke and related calls.
