Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The nurse will provide care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications include ASN or Nursing Diploma and at least 1 year of Critical Care experience; BSN preferred, and CCRN is a plus. Active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and NIHSS are required.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of Critical Care RN experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with health IT systems.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides care within scope of practice and adheres to ANA ethics.
• Ensure safety and advance knowledge through evidence-based practice.
• Report safety issues and medical errors promptly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members and collaborate with providers.
