Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The role covers a wide range of patients in trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology within an academic medical setting.

The position requires an ASN or Diploma with at least 1 year of Critical Care RN experience, strong communication, and computer skills. Night shifts are 7p–7:30a, 36 hours per week, with some weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

  • ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
  • At least 1 year of Critical Care RN experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in Critical Care Float Pool per Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate leadership in prioritizing and evaluating care.
  • Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
