Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Float Pool. As a float nurse, you’ll deliver patient-centered care across multiple inpatient units, using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.

Requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing-approved program, an active RN license, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years inpatient nursing experience. BSN preferred; we offer 36-hour work weeks and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to adapt across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care across multiple Med Surg settings using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive optimal outcomes and maintain documentation.
