Job summary

Air Methods CBS seeks a skilled Critical Care RN to join its helicopter transport team in Texas. You will deliver high-quality care from first contact through handoff, triage, and transport, prioritizing safety during the mission.

Requires 3+ years of recent critical care or emergency nursing, RN licensure, and ACLS/PALS. Flight experience is a plus; we offer relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license(s) in states of practice required.
• Minimum three years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• Flight experience is a plus.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from initial contact to handoff at receiving facility.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing education and training.
• Operate and maintain equipment onboard aircraft; report malfunctions.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and support pilot activities.
