Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Rhode Island EMT-B license
• EVOC certification within one year of employment
• BLS certification, instructor status preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to read, write and understand English

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive patient care alongside the critical care paramedic during transport under supervision.
• Provides comprehensive, safe non-invasive care to patients transported by LifePACT.
• Assists in development of patient care protocols and methods.
• Participates in training curricula and research.
• Completes patient documentation promptly per hospital and state requirements.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Rhode Island EMT-B license

EVOC certification within 1 year

BLS certification (instructor status preferred)

Valid driver's license
