Responsibilities

• Engage in professional conduct and maintain a professional image of the nursing department.
• Communicate with patients, staff and physicians in a courteous and effective manner.
• Perform nursing duties, supervise staff and ensure quality patient care.
• Assist with patient discharge, transfers and admissions as needed.
• Provide leadership as Charge Nurse or Medication Nurse when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients, physicians and staff.
