Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience.
• Strong background in outpatient mental health.
• Ability to manage emergencies and stress.

Per Diem Crisis Therapist Support Counselor assists Crisis Therapist with all concrete and supportive services related to referrals and contacts with patients, families, people we collaborate with, including but not limited to outreach, crisis calls, supportive counseling, ensuring linkages, networking with referral sources, engagement and transitional visits to ensure stabilization, monitoring referrals,

Strong background in outpatient mental health. The ability to work with challenging patients and families within the community. Ability to make quick assessments, manage emergencies as they arise, provide training and counseling as needed to patients, families and community agencies. Ability to manage stress and impact of vicarious trauma. Good working knowledge of resources within the community a plus. Minimum work experience, two-three years clinical experience.

Mobile Crisis team requiring work in the community at various types of locations.

Pay: $27-29/hr
