Job summary

TFI Family Services in Independence, KS seeks a Crisis Support Worker for a full-time position. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; we will train the rest for you. You will provide after-hours support for children and families with compassion and clear communication.

We offer shifts Monday–Thursday evenings and nights with rotating on-call weekends. A company car, cell phone, and computed tools are provided to support field work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Desire to help children in times of crisis.

Responsibilities

• Assist children after hours in crisis situations.
• Transport a child to a new foster home when needed.
• Be with a child in hospital or at various offices; rotate weekend on-call hours every four weeks.
