Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder facility.
• Certification as Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Food handler’s certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily needs of individuals served at the Crisis Center.
• Provide direct care, observations, and 15-minute/60-minute checks as required.
• Document mood, behaviors, and medication effects/needs.
• Monitor medications, vital signs, specimen collection, and data entry.
• Assist with transportation, outings, and unit milieu activities.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and trauma-informed language.
