Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Crisis Stabilization Social Worker (LSW/LPC) to join a high-needs youth team in Columbus, OH, providing 24/7 crisis stabilization services at FCCS offices. The role focuses on safety, stabilization, and advocacy to help youth transition to community living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• Valid Ohio professional license (LSW or LPC) required.
• 2 years of direct service experience with youth and families in crisis preferred.
• Proficient use of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required.
• Provides individual mental health services, and other evidence based clinical services as required.
• Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other care provider
