Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Crisis Stabilization Social Worker (LSW/LPC) in Columbus, OH. The role involves safety assessments, crisis response, and delivering clinical services to youth and families in crisis.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field, an Ohio LSW or LPC license, and has some direct service experience. This full-time position offers benefits and opportunities for professional growth at NYAP.

Qualifications

  • A valid Ohio professional license (LSW or LPC) is required.
  • 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families in crisis is preferred.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required.
  • Provides individual mental health services, and other evidence-based clinical services as required.
  • Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other care provider.

Position: Crisis Stabilization Social Worker (LSW/LPC)

Schedule: 3 shifts/week of 12 hours each; two weekend shifts per month. Night Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Compensation: $31/day M-F + weekend shift differential Saturday & Sunday.

Holiday and Overtime pay eligible. Benefits eligible.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
