Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. The CCS program provides twenty-four hour care to stabilize psychiatric distress and offers an alternative to hospitalization through structured support and short-term treatment.

The ideal nurse will quickly establish rapport across diverse clinical presentations and client ranges, with knowledge of crisis intervention and engagement strategies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible
• 2-4 years of experience with target population
• Crisis intervention knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide supports/interventions to maintain clients in the program
• Perform medical monitoring and education for clients, families, and staff
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for effects
• Complete medication administration documentation accurately
• Obtain physician orders on-site or on-call
• Collaborate with prescribing providers for coordinated care
• Participate in daily psychiatric rounds and support treatment plans
