Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

Our CCS program features a newly renovated 10 bed unit where individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis receive short-term

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree).
• Current RN license issued by MA Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment.
• One year of experience in acute mental health or co-occurring disorders setting preferred.
• Familiarity with recovery-oriented treatment approaches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document clients' self-administration of medications with safe practices.
• Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate medical care with staff.
• Facilitate health and wellness groups to promote recovery and well-being.
• Deliver strength-based, solution-focused nursing interventions and WRAP/safety plans.
• Complete clinical documentation and participate in required trainings.
