Job summary

View Point Health is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) for the Temporary Observation Unit (TOU) at the Adult CSU in Lawrenceville, GA. The BIS provides psychosocial rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and case management services to adult clients in a structured, 23-hour to 7-day cycle setting on-site.

The position emphasizes billable services, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to rigorous documentation and daily billing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an associate degree or vocational/technical degree in area of assignment; plus two years of related experience, OR one year at the lower level.

Responsibilities

• Cover a caseload of up to 6 clients in TOU.
• Perform initial billable activity with sessions of 30 minutes minimum.
• Complete follow-up billable activities within 23 hours of last TOU contact.
• Conduct discharge planning billable activity with 15-minute sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed and billable.
• Complete all documentation within 24 hours and meet daily billing goals.
