Job summary

View Point Health is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join the Temporary Observation Unit in Lawrenceville, GA. The CPS will work with adults in 24/7 crisis stabilization settings, assisting with recovery goals, self-advocacy, and transitioning clients to appropriate care levels.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3 years in social services (or 1 year in SST011) with experience in crisis settings. Evening shifts are available on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Three (3) years of job-related experience in a social services-related position, or one (1) year at SST011 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with adult clients in the TOU.
• Assist in needs identifications, solution brainstorming, and self-advocacy.
• Provide resources to support wellness and resilience and aid discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions to higher or lower levels of care.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours and meet daily billing goals.
