View Point Health is hiring a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) - Shift Lead to supervise and support clients in the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. The role involves monitoring meals, admissions, safety checks, and crisis interventions, while ensuring documentation and staff supervision are carried out effectively.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field with two years of experience, or one year at BIS level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field and two years of job-related experience; or one year at BIS level.
• Some positions may require certification or licensure.
• DBT knowledge is preferred and experience with trauma-informed care is valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients during meals and daily routines.
• Complete admissions for new arrivals and assist with hygiene.
• Conduct safety checks and crisis interventions as needed.
• Lead 1:1 client supervision and document daily observations.
• Transport clients when required and perform unit organization tasks.
• Provide supervision and training to staff as needed.
