Job summary

CN Guidance & Counseling Services, Inc. is hosting a virtual job fair for a Behavioral Health Technician who will provide direct services as part of a 24/7 crisis stabilization program addressing mental health and substance use disorders.

The role emphasizes client engagement, safety, and data sharing within a multidisciplinary team. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related experience, preferably in an acute psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of related experience required; experience in an acute, psychiatric setting preferred.
• Ability to greet and engage clients and support crisis stabilization activities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with incoming clients.
• Assist clients with the ICSC including directing to locker rooms, assisting with laundry.
• Help clients participate in recreational activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting in cleanup after treatment rooms and recreational areas.
• Ensure health and safety of staff and clients in emergencies.
• Assess situations and make timely, informed decisions.
• Share data with applicable individuals to support joint decisions and progress updates.
• Complete onboarding QI training and participate in refresher trainings.
• Foster an inclusive culture and follow safety guidelines.
• Support safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
