Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking experienced Behavioral Health Technicians for the Crisis Diversion Home Program, a 24-hour residential setting for adults recovering from a mental health crisis. The role provides direct supervision and supportive counseling as residents develop daily living skills in a structured environment.

Responsibilities include admissions, orientation, group facilitation, logs, de-escalation, and coordinating with staff to ensure safety and quality care.

• Experience in behavioral health settings is preferred
• Must be able to relate positively to clients and maintain professional boundaries

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions and orientation procedures for new clients
• Maintains inventory logs for personal belongings and secures valuables
• Facilitates client orientation groups and daily living skills activities
• Supervises meals and coordinates with staff for meal service and cleanup
• De-escalates crisis situations and reports incidents promptly
• Documents activities and updates logbooks to ensure continuity of care
• Participates in staff meetings and trainings and communicates client needs across the team
• Provides emotional support and refer clients to therapy staff as appropriate
• Ensures safety and adherence to program rules and policies
