Job summary

View Point Health seeks a Triage Assistant to support the Adult Crisis Stabilization Services (CSU). The role focuses on admissions flow, triage, and administrative tasks to ensure timely access to crisis stabilization services.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with experience in social services, along with ability to perform clerical duties, process authorizations, and coordinate transportation for clients. It is a full-time, day-shift role based in Georgia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of job-related social services experience.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and sit/stand for long periods.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions into the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and assist with flow into the Temporary Observation Unit (TOU).
• Verify insurance coverage and complete prior and concurrent authorizations; respond to inquiries.
• Process referrals, document in ECR/CSP platforms, and monitor CSP Board for admissions decisions.
• Provide crisis intervention support, intake screening, and referral information to callers and staff.
• Schedule transportation and assist with coordination for admitted clients.
• Greet clients, collect information, and direct them to appropriate locations; assist with records and clerical tasks.
