Job summary

Unison Behavioral Health Group is seeking an Admissions Coordinator (RN or LPN) for the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Georgia. The role coordinates admissions, conducts screenings, and acts as the primary liaison with referral sources, hospitals, and community providers. The position supports bed management and smooth transitions of care.

Salary is hourly and dependent on licensing level. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM, with weekends and holidays off.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• 2 years nursing experience preferred; behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis intervention, emergency services or inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions to the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Behavioral Health inpatient program.
• Serve as primary contact for referral sources, hospitals, law enforcement, physicians, community providers, families, and individuals seeking services.
• Conduct preliminary clinical screenings and admission determinations; verify eligibility and funding sources.
• Facilitate bed management and ensure smooth transition of care into the program.
• Assist on the unit as needed.
• Maintain professionalism during crisis situations.
