Position Summary:

The Technician, Crisis Services, will provide mobile crisis services in the community as part of the Mobile Crisis Team and Crisis Stabilization Services at the Green Door Center. This position will also facilitate follow-up services to ensure safe disposition for clients of all ages in immediate crisis.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position working a 12-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch on Saturdays from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Additional Opportunities:

Opportunities to pick up other shifts may be available throughout the week based on staffing and shift availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide crisis services to individuals within the community.
2. Collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes for individuals in crisis.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Remain current with all required training and certifications.
5. Perform triage of telephone contacts and on-site crisis situations to determine urgency and appropriate response.
6. Provide crisis support and intervention via phone or in person to individuals in psychiatric crisis.
7. Facilitate safe and appropriate dispositions based on the individual's needs.
8. Identify suitable family and community resources and gather necessary documentation for safe client disposition.
9. Complete all clinical documentation promptly, adhering to Family Health Center policies.
10. Consult with other professionals, departments, law enforcement, and first responders to coordinate and deliver effective crisis services.
11. Transport clients in crisis when appropriate to ensure safe disposition or follow-up attendance.

Minimum Requirements:

a. Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

b. Experience: No specific requirements; however, preference is given to candidates with relevant experience.
