Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm
Requirements: 3 years Medical Records experience and 1 year release of information experience.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of related work experience in medical records with 1 year of release of information experience. Our ROI team ensures all regulatory requirements are followed, including record reconciliation, maintenance, retrieval, scanning, indexing, and validation of records.

This role involves coordinating and processing high volumes of requests for confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA, federal, state, and regulatory guidelines across the Banner Health system (hospitals, clinics, urgent care facilities). It may include leadership duties and acting as a liaison between management and staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and process improvement.
Knowledge of health information practices, demonstrated through 1+ years post-high school education in medical records and information systems, and at least 1 year of release of information experience. Strong understanding of medical terminology, organization skills, confidentiality, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Proficiency in Windows, EHR systems, and multiple databases is required.
Current enrollment in RHIT or RHIA programs, experience in coordinating team functions, and a background in medical terminology are preferred. Additional education or experience in related fields is also advantageous.
