Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Social Service Technician (SST) Manager to supervise paraprofessional staff, ensure client safety, and coordinate daily operations at the DeKalb Regional Crisis Center.

This role combines hands-on client engagement with program oversight, trauma-informed leadership, and collaboration with the management team to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu for crisis stabilization services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of behavioral health or human services experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of management or leadership experience.
• Experience in an in-patient psychiatric, crisis stabilization, or other secured facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision of Behavioral Health and Crisis Safety Technicians.
• Coach and mentor staff in client engagement, milieu safety and documentation.
• Maintain regular supervision sessions and ensure trauma-informed leadership.
• Oversee daily client schedule and coordination between technicians and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and incident reporting.
